Julia's MFA thesis show, heartstrings, is a personal exploration of love through real stories and puppets. In this verbatim performance piece, Julia thoughtfully weaves together a narrative from real conversations with her parents, her partner's parents, and her partner. Julia juxtaposes the heavy feelings of falling in love with her whimsical puppet pals.
